Welcome to the National Unitarian Fellowship's (NUF) Unitarian Internet Fellowship Forum.
Don't forget to
The Forum was created by the Fellowship to serve a number of purposes:
- to provide an on-line space for discussion of spiritual matters from a liberal perspective;
- to encourage communication between Unitarians and those broadly sympathetic to liberal religion on matters of common concern and interest;
- to disseminate information about Unitarian (and other) events and developments;
- to offer a virtual community of like-minded souls.
We ask that contributors are respectful to what others might say and restrain from giving offence. However, the nature of on-line forums can address sensitive issues, which draw opposing views.
If you feel that a post is offensive, consider the matter for a while before giving a knee-jerk reaction. Remember that even though we are a liberal religion, people may still hold opposing views on a matter. If after consideration you continue to feel that a remark has been offensive contact the moderator on the private emailing facility. Preferably, step back from the discussion or find a way of engagement that moves the discussion forward.
You will receive e-mail notifications of replies to threads you have posted to, and of any others which you flag for that purpose, but you will need to visit the Forum itself to see other threads. Please add the Forum to the "favourites" list in your browser.
I hope you enjoy the time you spend with us. _________________ Joan
