whether from personal choice or necessity.
The minister leading us in worship is our Minister, the

PERSONAL WORSHIP
The universe is beyond my comprehension. I look at the photographs of galaxies and black holes taken from the Hubble telescope and cannot imagine the size of what I am looking at, nor the fact that this is part of a greater system that is infinite. From my back garden I look up at the stars and they are all out of reach but I feel in my bones that one day our children’s children’s children and maybe beyond that will crack the system that keeps us here and the stars there. They will travel the new frontier and they will never know it all because when they reach deep space, there will be a deep space beyond that.
How I wonder did it all begin? The big bang? but maybe there was a mighty implosion of all space before that, so it is all a cycle. We are just part of our own phase.
I imagine a deity, who is only mind, being the spirit of a galaxy and watching how this little planet is getting on. It sees: They cannot work as a single mind with a single purpose. All the parts are in opposition. The well fed make the underfed starve. They are demolishing their home around them and they fight each other perpetually. Will they ever break the code and reach the new frontier and would this deity want them to? What could they export that would be beneficial to some other world?
Is there enough time or will it take all of infinity for the beings on this planet to work as one and leave?
Tony
