BOOKS OF FELLOWSHIP

A letter-club consisting of five groups, six members in each, corresponding on topics of interest. The letters are circulated to members on the list before being returned to the Organiser who extracts the old letters, the pages having been carefully numbered, and adds them to earlier contributions thus building up a book. The most recent letters are sent off again to the person at the top of the list and the process is repeated.

For some the letters are a means of continued communication and support within a Unitarian Fellowship when attendance at Church is no longer possible. For others who are isolated it offers the opportunity to discuss current issues with liberal-minded friends. Whilst meeting and making new friends through the written word many networks of communication are established and developed.
